The Cooperative Gifted and Talented Program develops and implements technical assistance activities to aid member districts to meet the state's standards for Gifted/Talented Education.
These activities include: Assistance in preparation for state monitoring workshops; In-service, staff-development, or consultations for appropriate personnel based on identified needs; Presentations to schools, professional organizations, and other agencies to build awareness and advocacy programs.
The GT coordinator also provides liaison between the ADE, parent and professional organizations, and other public or private agencies.
Current News:
Congratulations to Cotter, Jasper, and Omaha for being selected as top contestants in the Youth Entrepreneur Showcase. These three districts were invited to Little Rock for the final showing on January 15, 2010. These three gifted programs represented our area with grace and style. We are proud of you!
